One year in

Do you remember what you did exactly a year ago? Where you were and whom you were with? What made you happy, sad, angry or excited? We remember very well. A year ago the Humanitarian ID team was working on the launch of Version 2.0. We had been working for many months gathering feedback from the humanitarian community, drawing lessons from emergency deployments, polishing the design, fixing bugs and preparing support materials. We were ready to launch the new version and were both excited and anxious, wondering whether our users would like the new look, feel and features of Humanitarian ID 2.0.

We're happy you did! In less than a year, the number of users doubled, and today more than 20,000 humanitarians manage their own profile. Hundreds of people every day also use their Humanitarian ID account to quickly and easily log into 20 humanitarian websites using our authentication service.

We’re growing as a community and want to thank all of you for your support. Here's to the one-year anniversary of the new Humanitarian ID; we’re looking forward to many more to come!
