We are happy to announce that you can now log into the Inter-Agency Standing Committee (IASC) website with your Humanitarian ID (HID) account.
The IASC, being the primary mechanism for inter-agency coordination of humanitarian assistance and thus involving a large number of humanitarian responders, is of utmost importance to the humanitarian community. A seamless web presence is key to disseminating new guidance, toolkits, etc. Its’ revamped site does not only have a new design but also many new features – one of them being the “Humanitarian ID Login”. Through the login, IASC members will soon be able to register themselves for IASC events and comment on draft documents!

The IASC website is joining Humanitarianresponse.info and ReliefWeb in using the Humanitarian ID authentication in order to reduce the number of user names and passwords you have to remember.

Other sites, such as ActivityInfo, Humanitarian Data Exchange, Shelter Cluster, and UN Jobs, are investigating technical integrations with Humanitarian ID for login purposes. So, stay tuned!

If you are a developer and interested in the authentication service, check out our developers’ site http://about.humanitarian.id/developers and get in touch with us.

Our mission: One less password.
