Great news from the Humanitarian ID development team – our code has been moved to public repositories. Any developer can now begin contributing features to Humanitarian ID!

Gone are the days where everybody has to develop their own tool or rely on one central team to add features. By making our code public, anybody can contribute by building the Humanitarian ID feature they want most. If you do not have the resources to do so yourself, submit your idea to a hackathon and spend an exciting weekend with a bunch of techies. Or, talk to a local university to see if their computer science students would like to contribute to the humanitarian community. You will quickly find out how much easier it is to build upon something than to rebuild everything from scratch. Why reinvent the wheel?
